Cabbage Growing Contest!!

Bonnie Seed Company's MEGA CABBAGE plants showed up here at ILS this week.  Each year 3rd grade classes around the state and country participate in the growing contest.

The biggest cabbage head from each 3rd grade class will be sent on to the statewide drawing.

A $1,000 scholoarship will be awarded to a winner in each state.  This is through a random drawing.  Each student is asked to provide me with a photo of themselves either holding or positioned near the mature cabbage head.  Cabbage head weight should also be provided, if possible.

 I will be contacting you next year in 4th grade to see if anyone has a cabbage photo they would like to submit!  Happy Growing!
